Being a relatively new Birder, I never knew there were so many types of ducks....I have put a sampling for you to see what one day's drive between Kamloops and Vancouver yielded for Duck Viewing. I have a couple of unknowns, so if you find them in your book or know what they are, this critter watcher would sure like to know what they are. Then there's this whole science of figuring out if they are "Adult" or mature as their feathers can change color, male and female are usually easy to spot as the plain ones are the females....
A duck is not a duck by any other name!
